Pre-Waxed Chain

Pre-Waxed chains have been prepared using our multi stage cleaning and degreasing process to remove all factory grease. Chains are then immersion waxed. Pre-Waxed chains are suitable for initial 250 miles (reduced in wet or dirty conditions) after which our Hot Melt Wax should be reapplied or kept 'topped up' with our Drip On Wax

For maximum efficiency and race conditions we recommend YBN SLA110 chains, factory surface treatment of these chains works particularly well with wax lubricant and tests show similar efficiency levels to dura-ace but with increased durability.

11 speed chains should be replaced at 0.5 wear, use beyond this level will cause premature wear on cassette, chainrings and jockey wheels.
